Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technology Adjunct Faculty member will deliver high-quality instruction in both theoretical and clinical components of an approved cardiovascular technology program. Instructional methods will include online learning, in-person skills training, and simulation-based teaching. Faculty will also coordinate and facilitate clinical experiences where appropriate.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective classroom, online, and clinical instruction.

• Assess student engagement and comprehension during each session.

• Grade and return assignments promptly while providing meaningful feedback.

• Monitor student progress and support academic success.

• Advise students on academic and professional development.

• Maintain and update course materials, syllabi, and instructional resources to reflect current industry practices.

• Coordinate and facilitate clinical learning experiences as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree.

• Experience: At least one year of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related health field.

• Active professional credentials: RT, RVT, RN, or RRT, with RCIS or RCES registry, or eligibility for registry (must obtain registry status within one year of employment).

• Recent hands-on clinical experience.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
