Position Summary
The Adjunct Instructor in Mechatronics at the Columbus Campus will teach one or two courses focusing on topics such as Electronics, Fluid Power, Mechanical Systems, Programmable Controls, and Control Systems. Instruction will be delivered through multiple formats to meet the needs of high school and non-traditional students, with most classes scheduled in the evening.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on industry experience and a passion for sharing technical knowledge with students pursuing careers in mechanical and industrial systems.
Qualifications
Required:

Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in maintenance and repair within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Strong understanding of Electrical and Mechanical systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or a related discipline.

Previous teaching or training experience, including student assessment and classroom management skills.
