Position Summary
Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Industrial Maintenance Technology Instructor to join our team at the Maysville Campus. This full-time, 10-month faculty position involves teaching 15 credit hours per semester, engaging in curriculum development, advising students, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting the college’s mission through professional service and community engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator with strong technical expertise and industry experience to prepare the next generation of industrial maintenance professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Teach 15 credit hours per semester in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related subjects.

Develop and implement engaging instructional activities that align with industry standards.

Provide academic advising, student recruitment support, and retention guidance.

Maintain accurate student records and report academic progress.

Perform maintenance and minor repairs on training equipment.

Stay current with technological advancements in the field and update program content as needed.

Participate in course development, evaluation, and mentoring of adjunct instructors.

Engage in institutional service, professional development, and community outreach.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related discipline.

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical or engineering discipline.

Demonstrated teaching experience in a community college or technical training environment.

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms).

Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced educational settings.
