Position Overview

The School of Engineering, Technology, and Aeronautics (SETA) at SNHU is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in our Engineering Program. This in-person position will begin in Spring 2026 on our Manchester, NH campus.

You will report to the Associate Dean for SETA and play a vital role in preparing students for success in modern manufacturing and engineering environments.


Course Assignment

Course: EG407 – Manufacturing Process Control
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:15 PM


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned course(s) according to departmental and university standards.

  • Engage students through effective instruction and meaningful feedback.

  • Assess student performance and maintain accurate grade records.

  • Use Brightspace (LMS) to manage course content, communication, and grading.

  • Participate in course content development and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or a related area.

  • Previous college-level teaching experience or experience training professionals in an industrial setting.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate real-world applications into academic instruction.

  • Commitment to student success, diversity, and inclusive learning environments.


Compensation

The standard pay rate for adjunct faculty is $2,800 – $3,400 per 16-week course. Actual compensation is determined at the time of course assignment, based on discipline and experience.
