Position Overview
The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC).
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a nationally recognized research environment, contributing to cutting-edge studies in power electronics, grid-connected converters, and energy systems innovation.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced research in the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC).

Supervise and mentor students involved in ongoing research projects.

Prepare and support laboratory experiments, technical reports, and publications.

Assist in the development of research proposals and collaborative initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (thesis submitted) with a focus on Power Electronics.

Demonstrated experience in modeling, simulation, design, optimization, and testing of power electronic converters.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Completed doctoral degree in power electronics.

Hands-on experience with design and modulation techniques for grid-connected converters, including medium-voltage applications.
Salary and Benefits

Annual Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience).
