Position Overview

The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC).

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a nationally recognized research environment, contributing to cutting-edge studies in power electronics, grid-connected converters, and energy systems innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research in the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC).

• Supervise and mentor students involved in ongoing research projects.

• Prepare and support laboratory experiments, technical reports, and publications.

• Assist in the development of research proposals and collaborative initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (thesis submitted) with a focus on Power Electronics.

• Demonstrated experience in modeling, simulation, design, optimization, and testing of power electronic converters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed doctoral degree in power electronics.

• Hands-on experience with design and modulation techniques for grid-connected converters, including medium-voltage applications.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience).
