Position Overview
The Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering, with a focus on steel structure design and behavior.
The successful candidate will have access to advanced experimental facilities, including full-scale structural testing laboratories, materials testing spaces, and high-performance computing resources.
Responsibilities

Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in structural engineering.

Build a strong, externally funded research program.

Mentor graduate students and collaborate with faculty across disciplines.
