Position Overview
The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach on-site at Minot Air Force Base, ND, in support of its Finance and Economics program. This position is specifically for in-person instruction and supports UMGC’s longstanding mission of serving adult learners and the U.S. military community.
Course Description
Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 201)
This introductory course examines the macroeconomy and applies core macroeconomic theories to real-world issues. Topics include:

Economic growth and technological innovation

Unemployment and inflation

Monetary and fiscal policy

Macroeconomic performance and stability
Required Education & Experience

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution

Professional experience in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline

Experience teaching adult learners in higher education and online environments is strongly preferred

Availability to teach on-site at Minot Air Force Base, ND
Preferred Education & Experience

Terminal degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification
