Position Overview

Baker College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Automatic Transmissions at its Auto/Diesel Institute. The role involves providing practical, hands-on instruction, supporting student learning, and contributing to a student-first academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Automatic Transmission courses in line with curriculum standards

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma / GED

• ASE Certification in Automotive Automatic Transmissions

• Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in the field

Preferred:

• Associate Degree in Automotive or related field

• ASE Certification in Automotive Automatic Transmissions

• Master ASE Certification (optional, strengthens application)
