Overview:
The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates with expertise in flow cytometry, hematology, and hematopathology. Knowledge or certification in Molecular Pathology or Pathology Informatics is preferred.
Responsibilities:

Clinical:
-
Diagnose and evaluate hematopoietic neoplasms.

Participate in bone marrow, tissue, and flow cytometry services.

Review blood and body fluid smears; evaluate hemoglobinopathies.

Weekend call coverage.

Teaching:
-
Educate medical students, residents, fellows, and post-doctoral trainees.

Deliver formal lectures within the Department and Hematopathology Division.

Research/Scholarship:
-
Develop independent or collaborative research programs in flow cytometry, hematology, or hematopathology.

Qualifications:
-
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or equivalent).

American Board of Pathology certification in AP/CP or CP and Hematopathology.
