Overview:
The Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) is seeking a board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeon with specialized training in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team providing care for complex cardiovascular patients, participate in teaching fellows and residents, and contribute to research and clinical innovation.
Responsibilities:

Perform complex coronary revascularization, valve repair/replacement, and robotic cardiac procedures.

Teach and supervise residents and fellows.

Engage in research, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate within a dynamic healthcare system to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
-
MD/DO degree.
-
Board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Completion of general surgery residency and cardiothoracic fellowship (or integrated program), plus additional training in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery.

Licensed or eligible to practice in Indiana.

Strong leadership, teamwork, and teaching skills.

Passion for innovation and cardiothoracic surgical advancements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship experience in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery.
