Position Overview:
Emory University’s Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, in partnership with The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders, seeks a senior-level physician-investigator to lead clinical and research programs in hemophilia and inherited bleeding disorders. The Chairholder will provide patient-centered care, conduct translational research, and mentor trainees across Emory’s multiple clinical sites including Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive adult hematology care for patients with inherited bleeding disorders

Lead and expand clinical and translational research in hemostasis

Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows

Contribute to Emory’s multidisciplinary care clinics and inpatient consultative services

Support institutional growth and development of research programs within the Division and Center
Minimum Qualifications:

M.D. or equivalent degree

Board Certification in Hematology

Eligibility for Georgia medical licensure

Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research
