Position Overview:
Emory University’s Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology, in partnership with The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders, seeks a senior-level physician-investigator to lead clinical and research programs in hemophilia and inherited bleeding disorders. The Chairholder will provide patient-centered care, conduct translational research, and mentor trainees across Emory’s multiple clinical sites including Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive adult hematology care for patients with inherited bleeding disorders

  • Lead and expand clinical and translational research in hemostasis

  • Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows

  • Contribute to Emory’s multidisciplinary care clinics and inpatient consultative services

  • Support institutional growth and development of research programs within the Division and Center

Minimum Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent degree

  • Board Certification in Hematology

  • Eligibility for Georgia medical licensure

  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research
