The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine is launching a major strategic recruitment initiative, seeking up to 20 investigators to strengthen its already exceptional Neurosciences portfolio. Positions are available at all faculty ranks across tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-earning pathways, with appointments in one or more of the Schoolās 27 academic departmentsāfour of which currently rank in the national top 10 for NIH funding.
While all applications are welcome, strong preference will be given to candidates with impactful and innovative research programs addressing brain health and disease across the lifespan.
