Faculty Physician – Division of General Pediatrics

The University of Missouri School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics is excited to invite applications for a full-time faculty position within the Division of General Pediatrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic medical community dedicated to outstanding clinical care, education, and innovation.

Qualified applicants will be considered for appointment at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Academic rank and salary will be determined based on experience, training, and professional accomplishments.


Position Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to the division’s clinical mission and may also participate in teaching and/or research activities depending on interests and experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care in general pediatrics

  • Engaging in potential teaching activities with residents, medical students, or fellows

  • Participating in research or scholarly work (optional based on candidate preference)

This role offers the flexibility to tailor your academic and clinical involvement while collaborating closely with dedicated hospital and university partners.


Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics

Preferred Attributes:
A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with both clinical teams and academic leadership.
