Premier Physician Network and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, are excited to invite applications for a full-time, academically driven faculty physician. This role is ideal for a clinician-educator who is passionate about teaching, mentorship, and shaping the next generation of OB/GYN physicians.

As part of a deeply collaborative department, you’ll join colleagues who are actively involved in regional and national efforts to expand access to quality healthcare. This position offers the unique opportunity to merge academic medicine with hands-on patient care across a diverse network of clinical settings.


Position Responsibilities

The selected faculty physician will contribute to the department’s educational, clinical, and research missions by:

  • Engaging in didactic instruction, journal clubs, case conferences, and additional teaching sessions for medical students and residents in coordination with departmental and BSOM academic leadership.

  • Supporting and advancing clinical care, research initiatives, and academic programming within the department.

  • Supervising and teaching learners in inpatient units, Labor & Delivery, operating rooms, and outpatient clinics.

  • Providing direct patient care while serving as a clinical role model for trainees.


Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications prior to the appointment start date*:

  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree

  • Completion of a 4-year OB/GYN residency

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN**

  • Unrestricted Ohio medical license

  • Federal DEA license

* The effective appointment date will finalize upon candidate selection.
** Board-Eligible candidates must obtain Board Certification as soon as feasible (non-negotiable requirement).
